I know it's late but, given all that I had to go through the past 2-3 months, be glad that I even decided to finish this! First my supplies came a week after Lunar New Year, then I got sick 3 times...ugh! Anyway, it's here and it is done!

Must have gone through a forest's worth of paper what with all the rough sketches for the rooster alone. Did a lot of searching for references too. We don't exactly have roosters darting about in Kingston. I decided to settle on a type of rooster with these feather markings and blue-ish looking feet. Never saw a blue-ish foot rooster before.

I apologise for the nasty scan. The shading is more pronounced and the colours are much brighter in the original. I hope to get a new scanner soon, so I'll re-scan the image around that time and replace this version with a better one.

My original intention was to auction this on Furbid, but my mother offered to buy it from me. Yay, Mummy!

I'm gonna take a good long break before I work on another work for auction. God, I'm tired.

P.S. My Chinese calligraphy is sub-par. Please don't shoot me. I tried. Also, I'd like to thank ~sfandmolerat for sending me her lightbox and the artist tape for me to be able to work on Rooster, and I'd like to thank ~tracyjb for helping me out with his neck feathers. She really came through for me on that one.

Materials: Pencils, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens, Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Pens, Prismacolor Pencils, Black Prismacolor Marker and Sakura Brush Pen.
